Warwick Rex is a Hanoverian gelding sired by Wortschwall out of the mare Allermeise who is a daughter of Allwieder. Together with German rider Alwin Schockemohle Warwick Rex was one of the worlds leading showjumping horses winning many titles most notably include individual and tem gold medals in the European championships in Munich and individual gold and team silver at the Montreal Olympics a year later in 1976.
